Small fire at Mill Creek amenities building

A passerby reported to authorities at 7:30 a.m. that smoke and flames were coming from the roof area of the amenities building in Mill Creek, S.C.

Bluffton Township Fire Dept. responded to the scene to put out what was a small, slow growing fire.

The fire began in the attic area of the second floor.

The facility was unoccupied during the time of the fire.

Some crews are still on the scene investigating the cause of the fire.
