Police arrest Aiken Co. murder suspect in Pooler

POOLER, GA (WTOC) -

Christopher Parker, 24, was arrested in Pooler Feb. 2 for a crime there but he was already wanted by investigators in Aiken County, South Carolina for killing an 18 year old there.

Deputies say Parker shot the 18 year old in the back, then tried to bury him in a wooded area. Police also arrested two others in Aiken for their roles in the crime.

Authorities with the U.S. Marshalls Office, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and authorities with Pooler, Georgia took Parker into custody without incident. He will stay in the Chatham County Jail until extradition.
