The reward is still out for free fried chicken for a year to help solve a Jan. 22 burglary at an Effingham County restaurant.
Blocker's Fine Food is offering the reward to whoever shares information that leads to an arrest in the case. The owner's daughter, who also works at the restaurant, told WTOC that no one has yet to come forward. She said police told the family they haven't received any phone calls about the theft.
Someone went into the restaurant's front door and stole hundreds of dollars.
The reward will be given away as 16 pieces of fried chicken monthly, along with fries, coleslaw, dinner rolls and some sweet tea.
Those with information are asked to call the Springfield Police Department at 912.754.3061.
