SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
The 2012 Georgia History Festival's Super Museum Sunday will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 5. During the festival, the Georgia Historical Society and over 40 other participating museums and historical sites in coastal Georgia and surrounding areas will be open to the public free of charge.
"This is an excellent means for Georgians and visitors to access the plentiful history of this area," said Dr. Todd Groce, GHS President and CEO, according to a press release. "Through Super Museum Sunday, we hope to promote the use of Georgia's historic and cultural sites during this annual commemoration of our founding."
