SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Oral arguments in a bizarre alligator attack at The Landings is set to begin this week.

The case will be heard before the Georgia Supreme Court.

Attorney's for 83-year-old, Gwyneth Williams' family say she was brutally attacked by an alligator, and killed back in 2007.

It happened near a lagoon at The Landings.

Mike Conner is representing the Williams family.

He says the gator shouldn't have been on the property in the first place.

They're blaming the property group for Williams' death.

If the Georgia Supreme Court rules in the Williams' favor, it will come back to Chatham County for trial.
