'I've never dealt with a company so incompetent'

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah gave Comcast Executives an earful Monday night at the first of four public meetings.

Residents complained about everything from hour long hold times when calling customer service to one woman who claims Comcast destroyed her Ardsley Park home.

"Physically I'm ill right now at what they have done to my house," Diana Thibodoux said.

Thibodoux rents her Ardsley Park house and says a Comcast technician took it upon himself to rewire the home.

"He took a drill and drilled through my brick and through the plaster. He ran all sorts of cable connections and took black wire and ran it inside my house along the baseboards and up over my doors. My house looks like a frat house," Thibodoux said.

Comcast executives were on hand to answer questions and fix problems.

"We are absolutely focused on taking care of our customers and where there are larger issues we'll address them," Comcast Vice President Andy Macke said.

Thirty representatives were on hand to field the questions and fix issues.

Three more public meetings with Comcast are scheduled this week:

Feb. 7, 6 p.m.: Resurrection of Our Lord Parish Hall, 112 Fell St.

Feb. 8, 6 p.m.: W.W. Law Community Center, 909 E. Bolton St.

Feb. 9, 6 p.m.: Armstrong Center, 13040 Abercorn St.
