CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -
Two people are in custody following the seizure of a methamphetamine lab by the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team.
Late Tuesday afternoon, CNT got a tip about a meth lab in a hotel located near Interstate 95 and Highway 204. Agents quickly started investigating the tip and successfully found the hotel room.
A non-active meth lab, the prescription pain medication Roxicodone and drug-related items were seized in a search of the room, according to CNT. The lab wasn't active, but was in the early stages of being set up. Agents also found evidence of previous meth cooks, according to the CNT.
Christopher Polsin Jr., 28, of Savannah, and Stephanie Brown, 32, of Pooler, were arrested and charged with manufacturing meth, trafficking meth, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and more felony drug-related charges.
Polsin and Brown were denied bond earlier Wednesday when their made their first appearance in the Recorder's Court of Chatham County.
Polsin was previously arrested on meth-related charges by CNT in July 2011 and was released on bond in that case, according to the CNT.
