SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Three men were sentenced in federal court on Friday to several years in prison for the Nov. 19 armed robbery of the Welsh Pawn Shop.

Damien Maurice Singleton, 21, of Savannah, was sentenced to more than 20 years in prison. Korrey Jones, 23, of Savannah, received nearly 15 years in prison and Antwan Benton, 21, of Guyton, was sentenced to nearly nine years in prison.

The three men drove to the Welsh Pawn Shop on Skidaway Drive in Savannah. Singleton and Jones went into the shop and robbed two Welsh Pawn Shop employees. Seven firearms were stolen, including an assault rifle, during that robbery.

Singleton and Jones entered the pawn shop and robbed two Welsh Pawn Shop employees at gunpoint. During the robbery, Singleton shot and wounded the two employees, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Georgia. Seven firearms were stolen during the robbery, including an assault rifle.

"This is one of the worst crimes I've seen since I've been on the bench. This was an intentional robbery and an intentional shooting of two victims, one of them execution-style. But by the grace of God, both victims are still alive," said United States District Court Judge William T. Moore Jr during the sentencing, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office. .

Moore ordered the men to serve five years of supervised release after they're released from prison. They were also ordered to pay $102,455 in restitution for the individual victims' medical bills and the damage to the Welsh Pawn Shop.
