BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) - The wives of deployed soldiers got a special serenade at the Marine Corp Air Station in Beaufort Sunday.
A barbershop quartet sang Valentines classics in an event meant as a thank you for the sacrifices that the families of the deployed make every day.
"I mean there's so many people out there who support us so greatly, it's amazing to me," said Christy Phares, who's husband is deployed. "Especially with our husbands gone, and even when they're here there's so much support for the military. It's very very gratifying and very nice."
