Suspects sought for two Southside home burglaries

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Two burglary suspects who broke into two Habersham Woods homes are wanted by Southside Precinct detectives.

The suspects took televisions, computer equipment and personal items from the homes on Monday, according to Savannah Chatham Metro Police. They're described as two white males. One was wearing a black skull cap, black jacket and black gloves. The other was wearing a gray/green hat, dark jacket, a light T-shirt and jeans and may have had a goatee or beard.

The first burglary occurred between 10:30 a.m. and 12:38 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Wheeler Street. They got in by breaking windows, according to police.

The other burglary happened between 2:30 and 2:53 p.m. Monday. The men broke in a door in the 500 block of Beauregard Street. Police said they backed a black Toyota Highlander into the driveway before the burglary.

The suspects moved quickly once they got in the homes as if they knew what they wanted to take, according to police.
