One dead in shooting at OA Logistics

POOLER, GA (WTOC) -

Pooler police are looking into a shooting at OA Logistics off of Dean Forest on Friday afternoon.

Police say Christopher Lema got in an argument with a co-worker, pulled a gun, and started shooting. He killed the man and took off. Police arrested him moments later. They are not releasing the victim's name until they can be sure his family is notified.

Rodney Dickey, President of OA Logistics, is flying into Savannah Friday night to personally oversee and help with the police investigation. Monday morning, counselors will meet with all the employees to help them cope with the tragic events.

"We are deeply saddened by the tragic events that occured in our Savannah facility today. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of our associate. We will take every measure possible to ensure a safe work environment for all our associates. Monday morning, we will have counselors on site to meet with our associates one on one. we will make every effort to help everyone cope with this tragic situation," said Rodney Dickey, President of OA Logistics.

There is no word yet on what led up to the shooting or the relationship between the two employees.
