SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

St. Patrick's Day unofficially starts Friday with the greening of the fountain in Forsyth Park.

This year, Grand Marshal Tim Ansley and the coloring contest winner Amy Doan, a fifth-grader at Georgetown Elementary, turned the fountain green at noon.

Check out the St. Patrick's Day schedule, road closures and more on WTOC.com's St. Patrick's Day section.
