Clydesdales visit Children's Hospital

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The world's famous Clydesdales are back.

Visitors from all over came out to see the horses at the Children's Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center.

These horses are gigantic. Each one stands at least 6 feet tall at the shoulders and weighs anywhere between 1,800 and 2,300 pounds. Jim Stewart said the Clydesdales are a favorite at the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

"You know, it's just not the kids - it's the kids, the parents everyone loves coming out here to see the Clydesdales. There really gentle giants there a lot of fun to watch. They're big, big horses," Stewart said.
