SCAD holds its annual International Festival

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – The Savannah College of Art and Design held their 14th annual International Festival today.

Folks came from all around to check out the music, dancing, art, food and much more from various cultures. The festival is meant to celebrate the diversity of the students attending SCAD as well as help educate visitors on a variety of cultures.

Particpants, including Yvonne Santiago, were excited and surprised by the huge crowds in attendance.

"I was not expecting this much people at all and I was expecting people to buy stuff either, but it's really really fun to see so much people be interested in so much people," she said.

The festival is sponsored by SCAD's International Student Services and Student Involvement Offices.
