SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Five men are facing felony drug charges after undercover officers busted a drug operation at D's Carwash on Montgomery St. in Savannah.

Billy Day, Michael Coleman, Vincent Barnwell, Cedric Hicks and Terry Gaines were arrested Friday night.

The Savannah Chatham Counter Narcotics Team made the arrests after police made multiple undercover drug buys.

Police seized a gun, cocaine, pills, marijuana and three cars.

The undercover drug operation started earlier this year when police were tipped off.

The men are being held at the county jail.

    After years of an almost complete moratorium, the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council voted 12 to 1 Monday to open a limited 2017 red snapper fishing season in the South Atlantic. If approved by NOAA Fisheries, the season will likely begin in mid-to late October.
