Coast Guard Searches for Missing Woman

The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a missing woman after a shrimp boat overturned in Glynn County. It happened on the Front River, just west of Sapelo Sound.

Coast Guard Air Station Savannah received a mayday call from another boat just after six o'clock Sunday night. They say two people were on the shrimp boat, Wing Song, based out of Savannah, when it overturned. One of them, Harry Liverman, was rescued by good samaritans; however, Air Station Savannah and U.S. Coast Guard rescuers from Brunswick were still looking for the woman. They believe she may have been trapped under the boat.

The Coast Guard says severe weather has made the search more difficult. Divers are still searching the water trying to find the woman.
