Three Arrested in Statesboro Bank Robbery

Three suspected bank robbers are behind bars, accused of knocking off the Sea Island Bank on Fair Road in Statesboro. Police say two of the men walked into the bank with black T-shirts over their heads, the third man had on a mask. Two pulled out guns, demanded money, then took off.

Detectives arrested 20-year-old Albert Young and 21-year-old Marcus Bennett after a stakeout on Friday. A third man, 18-year-old Timothy Young, was arrested in Lithonia.

All three are being charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and false imprisonment.
