There's a new person in charge of the Third Infantry Division Aviation Brigade. Col. Ronald Tuggle, a 21-year-veteran of the Objective Task Force in Washington, DC, assumed command from Col. Curtis Potts. The ceremony took place this morning at Hunter Army Airfield.
Col. Potts took charge of Third ID Aviation in July of 2002, just before they went to Iraq. "The highlight would be deploying this brigade to combat, doing some great things for our nation, taking down some terrorist regimes, and bringing them back," he said.
Col. Potts will be moving to Fort Hood, Texas, where he will be chief of staff of the Fourth Infantry Division.
