Effingham Co. Sheriff's Office seeks wanted felon

EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

Effingham County Sheriff's Office is seeking Ronnie Williams, 25, of Guyton, after he failed to appear before a superior court judge May 31 for a jury trial.

Williams is standing trial for sale of cocaine and possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute.

Recently, Williams made threats against other individuals involved in several drug cases. He is also possibly linked the tampering with a vehicle that was involved in a crash seriously injuring the driver.

Williams has an extensive criminal history and is a convicted felon. According to authorities, he is known to frequent the Guyton and Rincon areas in Effingham County and Savannah.
