Police bust meth lab in Bloomingdale

BLOOMINGDALE, GA (WTOC) -

Michael Linderman, 27, of Bloomingdale, and Mark Anthony Igou, 24, of Bloomingdale, are in custody after Effingham County Sheriff's Investigators located 35 "one pot" methamphetamine labs at a residence in South Effingham County Thursday.

Effingham County Sheriff's Office Drug Suppression Unit followed up on information which lead them to the Corral Road residence in Bloomingdale. Investigators located over two dozen meth labs as well as other items used to manufacture methamphetamine during the search.

Linderman and Igou were both charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, unlawful possession of pseudoephedrine and conspiracy. They are both being held in the Effingham County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.

The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
