SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - According to Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department, a black male went into Sakura restaurant on Montgomery Cross Road and Waters Ave. with a gun and demanded money Thursday night.
According to the restaurant owner, the suspect was wearing a mask and pointed the gun at customers and wait staff. The owner says the suspect got away with roughly $300.
This is the first time in 10 years that the restaurant has been robbed.
According to authorities, the suspect ran into a nearby neighborhood.
Police set up a perimeter and are still looking for the suspect.
