A seventh grade teacher is in court on Tuesday.
Investigators say Patricia Mulholland grabbed a student by the collar, forced him under a table and said "this is what Nazis do to Jews."
Police said several students recorded the incident on their cell phones. Mulholland's husband said he believes his wife took some of his medication on the day of the incident.
Mulholland has to complete a program called pre-trial intervention. The lawyers recommended that and the judge agreed.
The student's family was there and did not want to go on camera, but the lawyer for the family said the punishment was appropriate.
