Mark Mudano, MD, is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon and specializes in sports injuries, knee arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement, rotator cuff tendon repairs and ligament reconstruction. Effingham Orthopaedic Services provides the latest advances in medical imaging for diagnosis, surgeries performed in an enhanced and patient centered environment all with skilled rehabilitation therapy at the same location.
Dr. Mudano is board-certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and did an internship at Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta. He completed a residency at Medical College, where he specialized in orthopaedic surgery, and also earned a fellowship in reconstructive knee surgery and sports medicine. Prior to joining Effingham Health System, Dr. Mudano was with Southeastern Orthopedics, Milledgeville, GA.
Traci Knuth, PA-C
Traci Knuth is a Physician Assistant and has a Bachelor of Science degree in health science from Armstrong Atlantic State University and received her advanced degree Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, in 2010.

Julie Long, has more than 17 years of experience in leading and managing healthcare clinical areas and program management initiatives for neuroscience and orthopaedic service lines in academic and community hospitals. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 1996 and has earned national board certification as a nurse executive.
