SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Students from the Culinary Institute of Savannah at Savannah Technical College are one of four teams competing nationally at the American Culinary Federation Baron H. Galand Culinary Knowledge Bowl in July.
The four teams are putting their culinary knowledge to the test during the 2012 ACF National Convention from July 14 to 17at the Orlando World Center Marriott. The 2012 four finalist teams first competed and won their regional competitions.
Savannah Tech students represent the Southeast region. The team is made up of members of ACF Chefs of the Lowcountry: Jocelyn Brantley, Claudia Harper, Joshua Lopez, Joseph Poulin and Angela Real. Jean Yves Vendeville, CEPC, is the team's coach.
Students competing in other regions are from Kendall College, Westmoreland County Community College and the Lake Washington Institute of Technology.
