HARDEEVILLE, SC (WTOC) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help in solving a fatal hit-and-run of a 19-year-old Hardeeville woman, the Island Packet reports.
Amanda Pallitta was riding on the back of a moped with her boyfriend on State Route 46 on Saturday night. Authorities believe the driver of a two- or four-door red ford pickup truck ran into the back of them.
Pallitta's boyfriend is still in serious condition at Memorial University Medical Center.
A cash reward of up to $1,000 is now being offered for information. Read the full story at the Island Packet website.
