POOLER, GA (WTOC) - The Georgia Department of Transportation has installed new traffic signals at Pooler Parkway and Interstate 16 ramps.
The new signals will go into flash mode on Thursday. If weather permits and testing goes well, the traffic light will start being used on Tuesday, according to the DOT.
"Message boards and advanced warning signs will be in place to prepare motorists for this new Traffic Signal. Motorists are reminded to pay special attention to traffic control devices, signs and posted speed limit to ensure safe passage through the new signal location," said Georgia DOT District Traffic Engineer Robert McCall in a statement.
