SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah Metro police are investigating the shooting death of a 21-year-old man who interrupted an attempted robbery in a lounge parking lot overnight.

It happened around 2 a.m. Monday on Norwood Avenue off of Skidaway Road outside of Deb's Pub & Grub. Police say two patrons went outside to smoke when the suspect came up to them and demanded money. The victims hesitated and the suspect fired a warning shot.
