Savannah-Chatham police have recovered some stolen property thanks to help from a neighbor. About 1am this morning, someone saw four young men breaking into Scooter World on East Victory Drive. The suspects threw a brick through the front door window, then took two scooters.

Police arrived seconds later and chased the suspects into some woods behind Backus Cadillac. They found the two stolen scooters and also a hat that may belong to one of the suspects.

The owners of the business say they've been broken into five times in the last few months. Someone broke a window there Monday night.

Anyone with information about the break-ins can call CrimeStoppers at 234-2020. A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered.
