Bike riders make special visit to the Wounded Warrior HQ

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Michael Buonaiuto, Jr., 21, and Nathaniel Frankoski, 25, stopped at the Wounded Warrior Project Headquarters in Jacksonville, FL along their Bike the States tour.

Bike the States is an event designed to meet the people who live and vacation along the East Coast of the country, while raising charitable donations for wounded warriors and increasing World Warrior Project awareness.

The Bike the States fundraising event began Monday, June 25 in Key West, FL. Buonaiuto and Frankoski are trekking approximately 50 miles a day for 50 days in honor of our wounded veterans who fought for our 50 states, to raise $50,000. The guys will end their fundraising bike tour in Niagara Falls, NY on August 14.
