A cash reward now stands at up to $11,900 for information leading to the arrest of a gunman who fatally shot an Isle of Hope firefighter.

Early in the morning on June 25, Wesley Franklin was at a local pub in Sandfly when he was shot by a suspect who was trying to rob patrons outside the bar.

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police and CrimeStoppers are continuing to seek information about the person responsible for Franklin's death.

The Sandfly and Savannah communities have donated more than $9,400 that will go to CrimeStoppers Reward Fund for this case. A case reward of potentially up to $11,900 is available anonymously for information leading to an arrest.

All information provided to CrimeStoppers is anonymous and can be reported 24/7. Tipsters can call CrimeStoppers at 912.234.2020, send an e-tip though the CrimeStoppers website, (using the report anonymously link) or by texting CRIMES (274637) and using the keyword CSTOP2020 before the message content.
