City leaders want to hear from residents about T-SPLOST

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

There will be another town hall meeting to discuss your tax dollars Tuesday. 

Savannah city leaders want to get your input on T-SPLOST, the Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, being voted on July 31st. 

District 4 Savannah City Council Member Mary Ellen Sprague will be giving an overview on the tax and wants the public's feedback. The meeting will take place July 17 in Wilder Chapel at the Calvary Baptist Temple located at 4625 Waters Avenue.

T-SPLOST Town Hall Meetings will be held in all six Aldermanic Districts. The District 6 T-SPLOST meeting will be 6 p.m. July 23 at the Armstrong Center. The District 1 T-SPLOST meeting will be 6 p.m. July 25 in the Civic Center Ballroom.
