EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

A repeat meth cook is back behind bars Monday after Effingham County Sheriff's drug investigators found an active methamphetamine lab and other components used in making meth labs.

Michael Linderman, 27, of Bloomingdale, is facing several charges following Friday's bust at his residence in the 200 block of Corral Road in Bloomingdale.

Linderman and his girlfriend, Brittney O'Conner, 22, of Bloomingdale, fled from the residence in a vehicle when investigators arrived at his residence. Linderman and O'Conner threw meth labs and components to make the labs out of the window of the vehicle as they fled from investigators at a high rate of speed.

Deputies caught up with the suspects near Ziegler Road and took them into custody.

Linderman and O'Conner were charged with trafficking methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and unlawful disposal of egregious materials.

Linderman was out on bond after he was arrested on May 31 for being in possession of 35 one pot meth labs.

The investigation is ongoing and additional arrested are expected. Both Linderman and O'Conner are being held in the Effingham County Jail.
