Police Seek Escaped Convict

An escaped convict is still on the run and facing more charges. Harold Cannon escaped last week from the Screven County jail. Tuesday night, investigators say he used a machete to attack a man outside Statesboro. They think Cannon went after the man because he blames him for his DUI arrest.

Medical crews took the victim to East Georgia Regional for treatment. Cannon's still on the loose. If you know where he is, call the Statesboro PD at 912.764.9111.
