Man Wanted in Two Armed Robberies

Just before midnight last night, two armed robberies occurred within minutes of each other in the Ardsley Park neighborhood of Savannah. A man on a small bicycle and wearing a hood pulled a gun on residents at two locations a few blocks apart.

The suspect managed to get some money from a resident living in the area of East 50th Street near Atlantic, but at some time during that robbery the gunman dropped a wallet matching the description of one taken just minutes before.

In that incident, a woman was robbed at gunpoint by a man fitting the same description on East 55th Street near Reynolds. Police later found out the wallet belonged to the woman. They returned it to her, but they're still looking for the suspect.

He was riding a 20-inch black dirt bike style bicycle and wearing all dark clothing.

Anyone with information about either of these robberies is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 234-2020. A reward is offered.
