SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police asking for the public's help to identify two people caught on surveillance video using credit cards that were stolen in a purse snatching.

Police said that Angie Link was leaving Target on Abercorn Street just after 9 p.m. July 19 when a man grabbed her purse, which caused her to fall.

He then ran through the parking lot toward the mall, according to police. The man is described as a black male who is 5' 10" tall and has an average build. He has short hair and was clean cut. He was wearing a yellow shirt and tan pants.

Two women were later captured on video using credit card at a Walmart that were from that purse snatching.

Anyone with information can call CrimeStoppers at 912.234.2020 or text CRIMES (274637). In the body type, include "CStop2020" plus the tip. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
