Shooting suspect sought by police

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Police are asking for the public's help in locating an aggravated assault suspect. 

Robert Travis Culver, 21, is wanted on aggravated assault charges in connection with a shooting on Friday in the 800 Block of Gwinnett Street.  

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police said Culver and Jamison Moultrie were involved in an argument that escalated after bystanders broke up the fight. Police said witnesses saw Culver pull a gun and shoot at Jamison as he walked away. 

Warrants have been issued for Culver's arrest. He is 5'6" tall and weighs 130 lbs. Police said Culver is known to frequent the 500 Block of West 39th Street and the 100 Block of East Collins Street in Pooler.  

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the SCMPD CrimeStoppers at 912.234.2020 or text CRIMES (274637). In the body type, include "CStop2020" plus the tip. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
