Hinesville toddler accidentally shot named

HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) -

Hinesville police have released the name of a toddler who accidentally shot himself last week.

Hinesville police said Tristan Underhill, 2, shot himself at his home in the 1400 block of Blackhawk Hollow.

Police said the child was shot in the head while the father was outside cutting the grass. The toddler was pronounced dead at Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville.

Cpl. Doug Snider told WTOC that no determination has been made on charges in connection to the case.
