Lane closed on part of SR 21

RINCON, GA (WTOC) -

A lane of State Route 21 is closed at Ninth Street until Friday as contractors for the Georgia Dept. of Transportation work on the intersection.

The closure takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday to Friday, weather permitting for the southbound outside lane of SR 21 near the intersection of Ninth Street in Rincon.

Drivers are asked to slow down because personnel and equipment will be operating near the travel lanes, according to the DOT. Drivers should expect delays at this work zone.
