Two bodies found yesterday have been positively identified as a couple missing since March, Jewel and Mildred Cleveland. An autopsy today identified them today. The bodies were found by a dog team searching the property in Gum Branch, in Liberty County. This is what investigators had suspected since yesterday.
But a third family member remains missing. Now investigators want to talk with 35-year-old son Jason Howard, who lived with the couple.
"He's a material witness, we're trying to do an interview, see if he can help us determine what happened to his parents," said Chief Dep. Keith Moran with the Liberty County Sheriff's Department.
Take a look at Howard from this 1999 photo taken at the Chatham County jail. If you think you've seen him or have any information on this case, you're asked to call the Liberty County Sheriff's Department at 876.4555 or your local authorities.
