The people who hosted the G-8 summit last week say they have a lot to be proud of. At the Trade Center Authority's regular meeting, they talked about what was gained from holding the G-8 summit. Of course media exposure to countries all over the world was discussed, and they also talked about the lessons they learned and how they are even more prepared to deal with international events.
"We learned to talk technology in eight different languages," said general manager Bob Coffey. "We had to get used to different biological clocks, we had to deal with these technical problems that aren't always so easy when it's not in English."
The trade center says overall, it was a very positive experience and they have already seen an increased interest from the international market thanks to this event.
