Ben WilliamsonBen joined the WTOC News Team in August 2012 as a multimedia journalist and loves that he is finally close to the beach. He has heard nothing but wonderful things about the people, the places, and the history of the great city of Savannah.
Ben was born and raised in Roswell, Georgia just north of Atlanta. He attended the University of Georgia where he graduated with two bachelor degrees (GO DAWGS!). While at the University of Georgia, Ben worked for the school television station Newsource 15 as a reporter, anchor and producer.
He has interned for both Fox 5 (WAGA-TV) in Atlanta and the Associated Press.
When Ben is not out chasing down the news, he enjoys watching sports, running, lying on the beach, going to church, and spending time with his family. He is so excited to call Savannah his new home and looks forward to learning all there is to know about this great area.
