InSITE--Hair Bands & PacMan

Ever wish you could go back to the good old days? When it comes to computers, that mostly means last week, or last month. Anything older is ancient history. But I found a place that takes us way back, 20 years, on line.

The site is 80's Music Lyrics. If you're not a hair band fan, bear with me, it gets better. But it's only fair to start there. You can look up the lyrics for literally hundreds, if not thousands of songs. Some cult classics... Like the B-52's. Each page starts with a little bio about the band, then the lyrics to, in this case, "Love Shack" and "Rock Lobster," so if you wondered what they were saying all these years, or if all those years of cranking it up to eleven is taking a toll on your hearing, at least you can read along. They even have some Weird Al stuff, if you missed it the first time around. If you can't find what you're looking for, you can ask on their message board. Or if you know it all, there's an 80's music quiz, which I really blew.

Here's where it really gets fun. How many quarters did you drop in bars or arcades on video games? this site offers a few, on line, you can play all night and not even dig for change. Pac Man, Simon, and my favorite, Space Invaders. If you;d rather not play on line, you can even download the classics to your computer.
