SSU steps up to support Georgia SHAPE Initiative

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah State University Athletics Department will discount tickets to their first home football game in support of Georgia SHAPE, a statewide initiative to improve the health of young people in the state.

The Savannah State Tigers will go against North Carolina Central University on Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. at Tiger Arena. Tickets will be discounted at $7 for ages 6 to17 and admission is free for ages 5 and under.

Anyone buying tickets at the stadium the day of the game should reference "Georgia SHAPE" in order to receive discounted tickets. Tickets can also be purchased in advance by visiting, clicking on the "purchase ticket link" and following the directions to purchase tickets for the first home game.
