SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah Kennel Club hosted a "dog-gone" good time in Daffin Park Sunday.
Dog lovers from all over were invited to attend the second annual Responsible Dog Ownership Day. The event, which is held around the country at the end of September, is meant to help educated owners about how to be a good pal to their pet.
There was a pet show, games, vaccination clinics and more. Lots of local pet professionals came out to answer questions as well.
"It's been hectic, but it's been well worth it," said veterinarian Beth Martin.
"Getting everybody out here and seeing them, they love their prizes and they're just having a good time mingling and getting to know other dog owners."
