HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

On Sunday, two Hilton Head Island men were arrested on various drug and weapons charges. Dillon Booth Clark, 22, and Jeffrey Dale Donaho Jr., 25, were arrested after deputies stopped the vehicle Clark was driving for a moving violation. Deputies spotted the gold 1998 Buick LeSavre leaving the area of Namon Rd. just after 8:30 a.m. Authorities conducted the traffic stop in the area of Spanish Wells Rd. after they observed the vehicle driving erratically.

Upon making contact, Clark told police that he and his passenger, Donaho, were in the area looking for girls. Deputies observed marijuana in plain view inside the vehicle while speaking with Clark and Donaho. Donaho then told deputies that he had a handgun in the vehicle's glove compartment.

Both Clark and Donaho were then detained without incident. Deputies then located and seized a pistol and several boxes of ammunition from the vehicle. Police discovered that the pistol was previously reported stolen out of Beaufort County. After further searching the vehicle, police discovered an open bottle of liquor, a stun gun, a flare gun and an iPad that was later determined to have also been previously reported stolen.

Clark and Donaho were then placed under arrest. During a body search, Clark was also found to be in possession of quantities of marijuana, powder cocaine, and various prescription medications for which he had no prescription, including one that was stolen from a home on O'Connor Rd. earlier that morning.

Clark has been charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Donaho has been charged with possession of a stolen firearm, receiving stolen goods and an ABC violation.
