Third home invasion suspect remains at large

BRUNSWICK, GA (WTOC) -

A third suspect who is wanted in connection with a home invasion in Brunswick remains at large.

A woman came home at about 11:45 a.m. to find two men in her home in unincorporated Glynn County. Glynn County Police Chief Matt Doering said one of them shot her in the face and they ran out of the house.

She ran to a neighbor's home and called police. She told police that she saw two or three people get into a black Jeep. They took off on a 25-mile chase of speeds up to 100 mph.

Police put two stop sticks down and the second one blew out their tire.

The suspects' vehicle overturned at the base of the Sidney Lanier Bridge, according to authorities. Police said two men get out of the Jeep and ran through the marshes. One was taken into custody at 12:20 p.m. The second suspect was taken into custody late Thursday afternoon.
