A Wayne County deputy's car is towed away after the chase.
JESUP, GA (WTOC) -
A Savannah man was killed in a crash on Monday night after a
chase.
Police said a Wayne County sheriff's deputy collided with a
suspect's car at Walnut and Hickory streets during a chase. Police said they believe
the suspect was driving a stolen vehicle.

Glenn Sims, who lives at a Savannah address, died after the crash, according to
a Jesup police report. Wayne County
deputy Sgt. Josh Kruger was injured in the crash, according to the police
report.
Kruger was taken to Memorial and is in critical condition. Early
Tuesday morning, the deputy involved was stabilized at Memorial.

Police Chief Glenn Takaki told WTOC that police officers followed chase policy
completely.
