SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Volunteers
with Lowe's partnered up with children at Greenbriar to spruce up one of their
buildings known as Ivy Hall.
The kids and
the adults rolled up their sleeves to paint and landscape the area. It's part
of Lowe's "Heroes Project 2012."
Each year the company partners
up with a nonprofit organization to fulfill their basic needs.
"It's
an awesome feeling, it's very self rewarding," said Pam Taylor.
"Like I
said, it's a way we give back. And I think each of us can relate to these
projects. It's just an awesome project provided by our company." 15:56
Associates from the Lowe's
stores in Savannah, Rincon and Pooler all participated in today's extreme
makeover.
