Juvenile in custody after shooting in mini mart parking lot

BRUNSWICK, GA (WTOC) -
A man is in critical condition after being shot in a mini mart parking lot Saturday in Brunswick.
Glynn County officers responded to the A1 Convenience store on Newcastle St. Saturday around 3:45 p.m. in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Thomas Dixon, 26, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the back and arm. Dixon was transported to Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick and was then rushed to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah where he is listed in critical condition.
The actual shooting took place in the parking lot of the Arco Mini Mart at 3823 Norwich St. Based on witness statements, Eugene Taylor, a.k.a. Moody, 17, of Brunswick, was arrested without incident not even 15 minutes after the shooting took place at his residence on Franklin Ave. He has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
