Referring to the editorial broadcast in 10/08/2012: 

Your assertions today that the recent jobs report is a cooked-up creation of the DOL came as a surprise to me, given that experts cited on Face the Nation, broadcast on your station yesterday morning, clearly and unequivocally said the numbers could not be faked. They cited the complex derivation of the report and flatly stated that the report was above board. 

I have to wonder, in your view and those of your ilk, why the books were not cooked earlier in the campaign.
